You will be responsible for ensuring that new development’s infrastructure is designed to current standards by advising, reviewing and inspecting urban and rural resource consents and building consents.

 

Our ideal applicant will hold a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering and will have three years’ engineering experience in the civil engineering field.

To thrive in this role you will be somebody who has good time management skills, as the position often requires the management of multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, you will need strong problem solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to interact with a wide range of people. Being a team player with an excellent sense of humour will also be key.
