Team Leader - Swim School
Permanent Full-Time

Our friendly Aquatic Services team are seeking a Team Leader - Swim School.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the ILT Learn to Swim Programme and the Splash Palace Learn to Swim Programme.
- Ensure the quality of the learn to swim programme for all levels of the community (infants to adults) meets industry best practice.
- Ensure all Swim Teachers hold Swim Safe certificates and are working towards gaining an NZ Certificate in Aquatics (Swim and Water Safety Teacher) (level 3) and hold a current NZ First Aid Certificate.
- Prepare ILT School learn to swim annual forecast and actual participation spreadsheets for funding applications and accountability processes.
- Lead, coach and motivate team members.
What you will bring:
- NZ Swim Safe Certificate
- NZ Swim Teachers Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- 3+ years demonstrated experience in learn to swim teaching across all age groups and skill levels or team leadership
- A demonstrated ability to relate to people across all age ranges with excellent communication skills
