We’re looking for a Team Leader – Processing who is passionate about empowering others, lifting capability, and delivering excellence across our Building Consent Processing team.

What this role looks like:

You will play a key role in shaping a high-trust, high-performance team environment. You’ll be:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of skilled Building Consent Processing Officers
  • Ensuring building consent applications are processed accurately, efficiently, and compliantly
  • Providing clear, customer-focused advice to applicants, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Driving performance, supporting your team to meet and exceed targets
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, consistency, and technical excellence

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • A solid understanding of the NZ building consent system, local government environment, and relevant legislation
  • Demonstrated competency under the National BCA Competency Assessment system, ideally across a range of building categories
  • A recognised Regulation 18 qualification
  • Strength in leadership, communication, coaching, and prioritisation
  • A genuine passion for helping people grow and succeed
