The Operations Group, is a diverse group responsible for the efficient and effective management of Council’s infrastructure services (land transport services, three waters, asset management, sustainability and waste management) and delivery of a range of compliance and consenting services - including technical policy support, advice, land use and building consents, so that the growth aspirations of council and the community can be satisfied. This multi-disciplinary group also has responsibility for our organisational customer services and city-wide emergency management functions.

The Sustainability and Waste Team Leader, reports to the Infrastructure Manager and is responsible for leading the sustainability and waste team, managing the work programme and providing advice to Council on sustainability and waste matters. • Excellent communication and organisational skills including report writing, accurate record keeping and managing budgets.
