Senior Project Managers
Tauranga is one of the fastest growing areas of the country due to the lifestyle the city offers its residents as well as its location and vital role in the economy and movement of goods to and from New Zealand. We need to keep improving the existing infrastructure and build new infrastructure to keep up with this growth and to do this we need a team of motivated and experienced project managers to be part of this large programme of work in the upcoming years.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a motivated existing project management team with a significant growth strategy, with a full pipeline of work over the next 10-20 years. The projects range from significant infrastructure such as bridges and interchanges, intersection upgrades, large multi modal networks, safety programmes and other projects that will make a difference to how residents move around and across the city.
We are looking for exceptional Senior project managers to help deliver this plan that have a proven track records of delivering projects up to $100million, that have delivered transport infrastructure and understand how they are delivered in existing corridors within tight timeframes to meet community expectations. each and have the ability to work with regional partners and stakeholders to develop optimal solution on time and within budget. They will also have the skills to mentor and grow other project managers in the team and contribute to a high performance team delivering projects for the city. Their experience will be across a range of projects and they will have experience on working with large business cases, multi modal projects and be involved through the business case process to obtain waka Kotahi funding, through detailed design and construction. Ideally they will have engineering degrees or related qualifications, proven transport experience and the ability to work as part of a team.
