Working closely with the Principal Planner, the Senior
Planner – Consents will oversee the delivery of Council’s planning consents
services, including providing advice and expertise to others, and taking a lead
on more complex and challenging consent applications.
A relevant tertiary qualification, proven experience in
resource management and project planning, excellent communication skills and
the ability to build strong working relationships are all key requirements for
this full-time, permanent role.

You will need:
A degree in Planning or Resource Management
Recent relevant experience as a consents planner
Strong time management skills and sound research
methodologies
Clear and concise communication skills; both
written and verbal
A positive “can-do” attitude
Ability to motivate, lead and co-ordinate a
multi-disciplinary team.
