We are looking for a Roading Manager (known at the Council as Coordinator Roading) to join our experienced team. This position presents the opportunity to perform diverse roles including programme development, work plan implementation, asset management and contract administration – meaning no day is the same and proactive problem solving is the norm.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate the work programmes under the roading portfolio
  • Develop projects that deliver on the Councils annual plan
  • Liaise with your counterparts across the West Coast and work closely with the NZTA to deliver outcomes that add value to the region
  • Implement the current activity management plan and drive the development of future tactical asset plans
