We are looking for an experienced Risk and Compliance Lead to join our team. This role is central to protecting the Council’s reputation, assets, and stakeholders by ensuring our operations, projects, and services meet legal, regulatory, and policy obligations. As our in-house expert, you will discern and address organisational risks, formulate and develop frameworks, systems, and policies, and create solutions that strengthen resilience across the organisation.
You will work closely with senior leaders, elected members, and external partners to inform, persuade, and negotiate outcomes that build confidence in Council’s approach to risk and compliance. Your ability to design and implement practical strategies, foster a culture of integrity and accountability, and raise awareness through training and advice will be key to success.
