The opportunity - Te āheinga

Are you a detail-driven, proactive professional looking to be part of a dynamic team that helps shape our community? We're on the lookout for a Regulatory Support Services Officer to join us full-time, permanently in our Consents and Regulatory team.

In this pivotal role, you'll be the backbone of our regulatory services, providing essential administrative support that keeps everything running smoothly. From processing permits and licences to managing compliance documentation, your work will directly contribute to maintaining high standards and ensuring our community thrives within the rules.

Key responsibilities - Ngā haepapa matua

Day-to-day regulatory support for Regulatory Service teams, including:

  • Providing effective and efficient application lodgement
  • Providing minor application processing services
  • Ensuring all applications include relevant information to enable timely and effective processing
  • Receiving applications and assessing adequacy for acceptance, then accepting or rejecting in a timely and customer-centric manner
  • Ensuring good employer obligations and legislative requirements are met, particularly in relation to relevant legislation

Essential skills and experience - Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako

  • Experience working in a customer service or administrative role is preferred
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment or the building industry
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory services acts and other applicable legislation

You can expect to start in this permanent, full-time role with a salary between $64,133 and $66,921.
