Project Delivery Engineer

Our City Waters team are looking for a high-performing and customer-focused Engineer to join us in delivering great water services for Hamilton City.

We are looking for an experienced Engineer with the ability to deliver the annual minor capital and renewals works programme for Hamilton’s treatments plants and water reservoirs, and to develop long term service contracts for City Water’s activities.

As our Project Delivery Engineer, your key activities will include procurement, contract management, asset management and financial management. Your excellent customer service will ensure professional and timely responses to all enquiries and requests for service.

To be successful in this position you will need to be able to demonstrate your experience in delivering projects within an engineering environment. You’ll also have proven experience in contracts, procurement processes and documentation (in particular NZS 3910).  Your collaborative working style will enable you to work effectively within a high performing team who work systematically to meet all deadlines.

Ideally, you will have experience managing complex projects in multiple hazard environments, specifically water and wastewater treatment plants.
