The opportunity - Te āheinga
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project and Contract Administrator to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team in a full-time, permanent role. As a key member of our team, you'll play an important part in ensuring our projects run smoothly, efficiently and in line with best-practice processes.
In this role, you will provide dedicated project administration and contract management support across a diverse portfolio of projects. You'll help keep our systems running effectively, support the management of our contractor and consultancy panels, and contribute to the smooth operation of NPDC's contract management system.

Key responsibilities - Ngā haepapa matua
- Contractor panel administration: Track and report on contractor KPIs, create and maintain a register of lessons learnt, coordinate meetings, enter budget allocation, payment and accrual data into the financial system, and manage the SharePoint collaboration site.
- Contract administration: Manage user access to the CEMAR system, set up contracts and track compliance.
- Project support: Complete project set-up tasks in TechOne and P3M systems, assist with reporting, raise and receipt purchase orders, file documents, arrange meetings and take minutes.
- Systems and process support: Maintain processes in Flowingly and coordinate the allocation and closeout of service requests.
- Reporting: Assist with improving reporting and stakeholder collaboration and provide information as required for portfolio governance.
- Maintain awareness of legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures, particularly in relation to relevant legislation.
Essential skills and experience - Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako
- A formal qualification, for example NZQA procurement or contracts administration.
- Experience in project support or contract administration.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
- Previous experience with contract management systems, project management systems, financial systems or similar.
- Knowledge of procurement and contract processes is desirable.

You can expect to start in this permanent, full-time role with a salary between $64,133 - $66,921.
