We are seeking a Principal or Senior Resource Management Planner – an experienced and motivated professional - to join our team and help guide the district’s growth through sound resource management practices. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing review of our District Plan, manage complex resource consent applications, and provide expert planning advice across a diverse range of land use and environmental matters.

 As a Principal or Senior Planner, you’ll:

• Lead and support planning initiatives that shape the future of the district.
• Provide technical expertise and mentoring to developing planners.
• Engage with stakeholders and contribute to hearings, appeals, and strategic projects.
• Deliver high-quality planning outcomes that balance growth, sustainability, and community values.
