Manager Roading
Ōtorohanga District has moved into a period of growth and development, after several decades of static population and business activity. This brings huge opportunities and the need to invest to build a vibrant District and prosperous and thriving communities that residents can be proud of.

The Manager Roading will play a key role in building confidence amongst our community and key stakeholders that the roading programme is:
- well managed;
- legally compliant;
- meets required service levels now and into the future
- provides value for money; and
- is delivered according to the Road
Safety Strategy
To deliver in
this role you’ll need to have a broad understanding of civil engineering,
systems and design standards and best practice.
It is likely you’ll also have sound knowledge and experience in contract
management, with an understanding of the technical, contractual and financial
requirement involved in effectively managing a roading contract.
Leading people is a
key aspect of the role, so you will need to demonstrate strong leadership that
inspires, and motivates your team to do their best work.
