The role of Library Supervisor at Cambridge Public Library is about providing the support and structure needed for our team to continue delivering exceptional service. You will lead by example in managing the library's operational services to meet customer and staff needs.

You will get to apply your creativity to the coordination and presentation of our service and spaces - creating a welcoming, professional and safe environment for all. Your detail focus will also be valuable as you manage the internal databases, provide operational reporting, and deliver rosters that ensure consistent coverage for the highest level of service.

About you:

  • We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with a wide variety of people - encouraging lifelong learning and bringing character to the work
  • You will need strong numeracy and financial management skills, and be a strong motivator with a positive and collaborative approach
  • At least three years' experience in a library and supervisory role would be beneficial, as well as excellent knowledge of Library Management Systems
