The Land Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring privately developed infrastructure meets QLDC standards and high quality design ensures long lifespan for vested assets with minimization of maintenance and replacement requirements for the community.
Mitigation of risks associated with earthworks and hazards in our mountainous and at times unstable terrain through appropriate assessment and correct implementation of recommendations.
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying or related discipline
4 +years minimum relevant experience within civil engineering or surveying
Experience in 3 waters reticulation, roading and land management
Sound knowledge of RMA, Loval Government Act and related legislation
Sound knowledge of NZS 4404:2010 Land Development and Subdivision Infrastructure
Excellent time management and project management skills
Ability to work autonomously
Strong relationship building skills
