ABOUT THE ROLE – NGĀ ĀHUATANGA O TE TŪRANGA

Grasp the opportunity to become a key part of our progressive and newly formed Business Excellence Team and work with us to foster a safety and wellbeing culture that is integrated within broader business practices.  Work alongside managers and Health and Safety Representatives to drive continuous improvement in our systems and lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, participation and knowledge of health and safety systems and practices.

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - KEI TE KIMI  MĀTOU I TĒNEI MOMO TANGATA

  • We are looking someone with demonstrated health and safety capability and the energy to drive organisational-wide improvements.
  • You will have a sound working knowledge of health and safety practices, preferably in the local government environment.
  • You will be able to think strategically and confidently communicate using succinct reports and presentations.
  • You will thrive on influencing a range of people across our organisation and get satisfaction from seeing our enhanced processes being effectively utilised.
  • You will have a tertiary qualification in relevant discipline e.g. health and safety management.
