Who are we looking for?

We are on the hunt for a savvy facilities asset engineer who will be responsible for providing high quality, accurate and timely asset management support to our internal asset owners. We're looking for someone who's passionate about what they do, takes pride in their work and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

Your strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-confidence, drive, motivation, great eye for detail and integrity will shine through.

A tertiary Qualification in Asset Management, Engineering, Parks and Recreation or equivalent is highly desirable with strong experience in a similar role, understanding of Asset management information systems (AMIS), data migrations, BI and detail within such systems will hold you in excellent regard. Additional experience with local government infrastructure and facilities management practices and associated legislative requirements would be ideal.

What you'll be doing

You will be committed to delivering outcomes in playing an integral part in the development of asset management plans, policies, strategies and standards for parks, facilities and property activities (Facilities Assets) and contribute to their wellbeing on behalf of the Community.

Working within the Community Assets team, alongside delivering high quality asset management services you will deliver strong analysis, planning and work programming that aligns with industry best practice. You will be working closely with asset managers via the virtual 'Asset Solutions' team to ensure there is a strong connection between asset planning, operations and successful delivery of information and services to our internal and external customers, as such you're personable, and a great relationship builder.
