The opportunity - Te āheinga
We have an exciting fixed-term opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our Finance and Planning Group from February 2026 to December 2026, covering parental leave.
In this role, you'll provide high-level executive support to our newly appointed General Manager Finance and Planning, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the group.
This is a dynamic and varied position where your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs will truly shine.
You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced environment, managing priorities, coordinating communications and enabling the General Manager to focus on strategic outcomes.
If you thrive on being proactive, building strong relationships and keeping things running seamlessly behind the scenes, this role is for you.
Key responsibilities - Ngā haepapa matua
- Providing professional, high-quality executive support and secretarial services to the GM
- Coordinating administration tasks such as diary and email management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination and minute-taking
- Assisting with preparation and presentation of key documents, reports and communications
- Supporting payment processing and maintaining information systems
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Essential skills and experience - Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong document presentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
- A current driver’s licence
- Experience in project or event coordination and familiarity with information systems will be an advantage

You can expect to start in this fixed-term, full-time role with a salary of between $73,318 - $76,506.
