Dunedin City Council are seeking an Energy Graduate to help us save energy, cut emissions, and support the move to Carbon Zero 2030.

Reporting to the Asset & Facilities Manager, you will advise on energy related issues, identify energy reduction opportunities, and implement plans to reduce energy usage across the organisation.This role is part sponsored by the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (EECA) to improve the energy efficiency and sustainability of New Zealand.

A recent graduate, with knowledge of energy management, ideally you will be able to demonstrate;

• Engineering knowledge
• Data analysis skills
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Practical application of energy saving initiatives
• An interest in sustainable building practices.

In addition to the above, you will have great communication skills, a customer focus, and the ability to plan and deliver effectively in a complex and sometimes pressured environment.
