Mō te tūranga | About the Role

Due to growing demand, our Engineering Services team is seeking someone skilled in development engineering with practical construction experience. Your main focus will be assessing and managing development projects while supporting the team with contract administration and construction oversight. Experience with NZS 3910 contracts is a bonus.

Ko ngā haepapa matua| Key Responsibilities

• Assess and advise on engineering aspects of resource consents.
• Inspect development sites for compliance with plans, consents, and standards.
• Provide engineering advice to developers, consultants, and the public.
• Calculate development contributions and process vehicle crossing applications.
• Support construction contracts and onsite quality assurance.

• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in land development, infrastructure design, or civil projects.
• Knowledge of NZS 3910 contracts and NZ engineering standards.
• Familiarity with the Resource Management Act.
• Passion for sustainable growth in the Hauraki region.
• Experience with Iwi Partnership and applying the principals of Te Tiriti o Waitangi into BAU
