We have a diverse and passionate workforce with over 250 employees spanning all Council activities and we are dedicated to delivering only the best to our community.
What the job involves
Researching, writing and supporting community engagement processes and strategic planning projects such as the Annual and Long Term Plans. With feedback gained from the community and advice gained from internal subject matter experts, the Strategy and Policy team's purpose is to provide timely and succinct information and options to our elected members so they can set the future direction of Council for our district.

Working in a friendly environment, we offer a market comparative salary and a number of employee initiatives that will see you supported and encouraged to further enhance your career. What about lifestyle? You'll find the Ashburton District perfect for you and your family - we simply have it all - new community facilities, Mt Hutt, Lake Hood, countless places of natural beauty and a community feel within our townships.
If sounds like your ideal role, then we'd love to hear from you.
