Consent Planner - Land Use (Fixed Term)

We are on the hunt for a savvy Land Use Planner to join our Resource Consents Team based in Richmond on a 12 month fixed term basis to cover extended parental leave.

This highly visible role is responsible for providing professional advice and technical expertise for district land use consent applications.

To succeed in this role you will hold a tertiary qualification in in planning or resource management and have significant relevant work experience in land use planning.

 

On top of this we'll be looking for:

  • Experience with LIMs, PIMs and Duty Planning;
  • Highly developed communication skills;
  • A strong customer service focus;
  • A willingness to develop your chosen career;
  • Experience working in a unitary Council environment would be a real bonus.
This is a full-time position, however we would be willing to consider part-time hours for the right applicant.
