Community is at the heart of any city, and at Hamilton City Council, we have a team of staff devoted to working alongside our residents and community organisations.
The Council’s Community and Social Development Team is to work collaboratively and cohesively across the Council while aligning with key stakeholders, supporting and driving social wellbeing outcomes for the city.
Working closely with your Senior Community Advisor this role will provide sound community development advice to support the goals of Council. Your background in community development will help you develop and maintain working relationships with key community and government stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will need considerable project management experience, as well as highly-tuned communication and influencing skills. Additionally, working across organisations to achieve joint social-wellbeing outcomes will be second nature to you. Ultimately it will be your passion for our community and your desire to build a better tomorrow that will make you stand out from the crowd.

The recruiting range for this role starts at $56,600 per annum, and could be negotiated for the right candidate.
