We're seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as the Assistant to the Executive Director - Community Services and Facilities. About the role:
Key responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the Executive Director's schedule and diary management, ensuring all appointments and meetings are seamlessly coordinated.
- Timely preparation of investigation and report writing on a variety of topics.
- Coordinate document preparation, management meetings, variety of projects, planning days and events.
- Manage effective working relationships and engagement across a diverse group, wider organisation and be at core of making a difference for community.
- Digitally adept and a willingness to quickly learn new systems and tools.
This is a great opportunity to learn about leadership, management and strategic planning in a real-world setting.
About you:
In this role you will demonstrate strengths in applying initiative, working collaboratively in a team environment and being able to predict what the Executive Director needs quickly and adapt.
You'll also demonstrate:
- Proven administration, diary management, project management and report writing experience.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for positive relationship management and public service.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- A desire to learn and grow
- Eager to develop leadership and management skills
- Work confidently across different digital systems, tools and Microsoft Office.
