Asset Planning Manager

About the Role

In this role, reporting to the Group Manager Infrastructure, you will be leading Council’s asset management improvement journey.  You will provide effective management and planning of Council’s public infrastructure assets, ensuring our data and asset management plans support long-term, sustainable outcomes. As a manager, you and your team will work closely with a range of stakeholders and play a key part in aligning our operations with best practice.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced asset planner who brings a positive, team-focused approach and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. Ideally, you will have:

  • Knowledge and experience in developing public infrastructure asset management plans (AMPS)
  • Knowledge and experience in developing long term capital infrastructure asset creation programmes, based on the AMP for example.
  • Experience in asset data capturing and management, particularly for infrastructure assets
  • Experience in asset capitalisation
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, public infrastructure asset management, or a related field
  • A strong customer service ethos, with the ability to achieve win–win outcomes through effective communication and collaboration
  • Staff leadership experience
