Asset Information Officer


  • Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Based in Te Awamutu with hybrid working available (offering a combination of working from home and from our offices)

About the Role

You will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of asset data collation, recording, analysis, capitalisation, quality assurance, and reconciliation in accordance with best practice and Council procedures for Water Services.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Producing accurate asset information to both internal and external customers.
  • Working in conjunction with the asset owners to ensure accuracy and reliability of the asset data.
  • Consultancy partnership and developing both contract documentation and the asset management system.

About You

Our successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar or relevant position.
  • Minimum of a diploma-level qualification in a related field (e.g. information systems, engineering or business management) or equivalent level of learning through experience.
