About the Role

Will you be the next Asset Coordinator to join our Te Awamutu-based Water Services team? After a successful internal promotion, the new Asset Coordinator will be responsible for undertaking the co-ordination of asset management and administration for the Water Services business unit.

The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely within the Water Services team to ensure data is accurate and incorporated into the Asset Management System (AMS).
  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure asset information is collected, analysed and relevant documentation updated.
  • Working closely with the Development Engineering and Project Delivery teams to facilitate the collection of accurate information for future works programmes.

About You

Our successful candidate will have:

  • A Science, Engineering or similar infrastructure asset management qualification (or equivalent learning through experience)
  • At least two years' previous experience working in an infrastructure asset administration or Three Waters related position and/or an engineering trade background i.e. plumbing / reticulation for network-related knowledge.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Customer Service experience and exposure to relay technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
  • The ability to negotiate, coordinate and facilitate between numerous parties to relay information, ensure consistency and seek outcomes and solutions for all concerned.

While the role is based out of our Te Awamutu office, some travel within the Waipā district may be required (at Council's reasonable expense) to fulfil your duties.

Depending upon experience, the gross annual salary range for this 40-hour per week role is $ 68,844 to $ 76,494.
