Tino takohanga - Key responsibilities
This role would see you lead in the planning and delivery of the complex 3 Waters Projects generally involving process plant upgrades within the Wastewater/Water Treatment Plants and Pump Stations. These projects will provide improvements and long term security to our treatment facilities.
As the Senior Project Manager in the team, you will support the Team Lead, and mentor others within the team to further their development.
With good interpersonal and relationship management skills you will help ensure that the infrastructure project team deliver the long term capital works programme, in conjunction with our project partners.
Ngā tino pūkenga me ngā wheako - Essential skills and experience:
- Work ethic that inspires, motivates and enhances team performance
- An understanding about the complexities around live water and wastewater treatment plants
- Contract and financial management experience through running of projects
- Experience working alongside operations and maintenance personnel
- Good understanding of civil, mechanical, process, and electrical drawings, and associated documentation
- Experience with updating operations manuals and maintenance schedules
- Experience partnering with a diverse range of key stakeholders
- A relevant tertiary qualification (mechanical, process or similar) and 10 years plus experience in water/wastewater projects
- Proven track record of collaboration and team engagement
- Proven track record of promoting health, safety and wellbeing
- Experience in Design Reviews, HAZOP, Safety in Designs reviews
