Projects and Operations Manager

You will manage our infrastructure programme, be it new or renewal and be our expert providing project management advice. Whether the project is an upgrade or new build, it will be your previous project experience, contract supervision, commercial and strong communication skills that will ensure project completion is a success. The role also includes managing a team delivering the day to day operations of water, wastewater, storm water, solid waste and recycling services.
Who we are looking for
You will have a minimum of 10 years operations experience as a civil engineer and project manager with with previous construction experience and a relevant tertiary qualification. You will be capable of effectively managing contractors and consultants ensuring that projects are completed to a high standard, within budget and agreed timeframes. You'll be committed to providing a quality product, while liaising, and influencing the key stakeholders to ensure our ratepayers get 'bang for buck' with their infrastructure programme. You will also have significant experience in contract management to enable you to provide advice across the organisation.
