Hastings District Council is seeking applications for an astute project manager to join our Economic Growth and Organisation Improvement Group, to project manage the successful delivery of the corporate security risk based implementation plan.
This implementation plan includes physical, systems and services based security measures, and also involves leading the development of associated policies, procedures and provisions of training.
This is a 12 month fixed term position.
This project work has an organisation-wide focus and is separate to work being undertaken within the Community Safety Team in regards to community safety measures.
The successful applicant will have a relevant professional qualifications in project / programme management and extensive experience in complex projects coupled with security industry experience, including the development of security policies, programmes and processes. In addition highly developed organizational and problem solving abilities and impeccable interpersonal and relationship building skills will be essential.
