and competent planner to join our friendly and professional planning team. If
you would like to help shape the future of the Whakatane District by enabling

The Policy Planner will help contribute to the Council’s District
Plan and the development of other strategic planning documents and policies.
A relevant tertiary qualification, strong analytical skills,
excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong partnerships and
working relationships are all key requirements for this full-time, permanent role. Proven experience in resource management
planning is preferred, but recent graduates with the right attributes would be
considered.
