The Natural Resources Policy team is looking for a Resource Planner/Policy
Analyst to assist with our geothermal management programme, and other topical resource
management challenges. You will be working in a small team and contributing to RMA processes,
including community and iwi engagement, policy development and submissions. There
will also be opportunity to be involved in a variety of operational projects,
and investigations which will provide the evidence base for the policy
development.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a relevant tertiary degree andhave at least 3 years’ experience in
a planning or policy role,
- Have an understanding of the requirements to carry out an RMA plan
change process,
- Be a team player who is adaptable, motivated outcome focussed.
The position may be located in the sunshine
capital of Whakatāne, our geothermal capital
Rotorua or in the heart of Tauranga.
The recruitment salary midpoint for this position will be approximately $77,900 and will be determined based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. Salary progression will be based on successful delivery of performance indicators.
