Who are we looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and driven Events Officer to join our Community Connections team. As the Events Officer you will work with members of the public to encourage the use of community owned facilities in a positive way and coordinate tasks in a way that align with the objectives of the council. You would do this by actively monitoring the use of council owned facilities and open spaces and taking the lead in the facilitation of community events.

As part of the team, you will ensure that the vision of liveable, thriving and connected communities is met and you will provide outstanding customer service to help understand the needs of our community in the open spaces, events and venue area.

As the ideal candidate, you will have experience working in a community focused engagement role. As well as have a current first aid certificate. If you are committed to succeeding by achieving outcomes and have the ability to plan, initiate, implement and follow projects to delivery phase and really enjoy working in a fast paced team environment with a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service, then we want to talk with you!
